These are the terms for using Twogether. They are short because the app is small: it is a shared household ledger for two people, and there is not much to argue about.

What the service is
Twogether is an app where two people share a household: money, shopping, chores, meals and a calendar. A household — the app calls it a room — holds exactly two people. You either create one and invite the other person with a code, or you join theirs with the code they send you.
Your account
- Use an email address you actually control. It is how you get back in if you forget your password, and it is the only way we can reach you.
- Keep your password to yourself. Anyone holding it is you, as far as the app can tell.
- One account per person. Sharing one account between two people defeats the point of the app and breaks the split.
- You must be 16 or older.
What you may not do
The short version is: do not attack it, and do not use it to hurt anybody.
- No attempt to reach another household's data, to guess join codes or passwords, or to get around a limit that is there on purpose.
- No automated hammering of the service, and no reselling access to it.
- Nothing unlawful, and nothing that abuses or harasses the other person in your household. The app is a shared ledger, not a surveillance tool.
- No uploading anything you do not have the right to upload.
What you put in is yours
Your records, your photos and your notes remain yours. What you grant is only what running the app requires: storing them, showing them to the other member of your household, and backing them up. No licence to use your content for anything else, and none that survives your account.
Note what "shared" means, because it is the one thing people get wrong: the records in a household belong to both of you. Either of you can edit or delete any of them, and when one account is deleted the shared money history stays, without that person's name on it. The privacy policy explains this in full.
What the service costs
Nothing, today. If a paid plan is introduced, the features you already use will not be taken away from you retroactively without notice and a way to export everything first.
What is not promised
The app is provided as it is. It is run carefully and backed up, and it is not a bank: there is no guaranteed uptime, no support commitment measured in hours, and no warranty that it is free of defects. Keep your own record of anything you cannot afford to lose — the export button hands you everything at once, and the whole app can also be self-hosted.
Nothing in this section takes away rights you have as a consumer under Portuguese or EU law, which cannot be signed away and are not being signed away.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, liability is limited to what you paid for the service in the twelve months before the problem — which today is nothing. Not excluded: death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, and anything else the law does not permit to be excluded.
Ending it
You can delete your account at any time from Settings, and what happens to the household's records when you do is set out in the privacy policy. An account may be suspended or closed without notice only for the things under "what you may not do" — an attack, an attempt on another household, or an unlawful use — and you will be told what happened and be able to export your data unless a court says otherwise.
Changes
This is version 1. A new version gets its own number and date, this one stays readable, and you are asked to accept the new one. A change that materially affects you will be announced in the app.
Law
Portuguese law applies, and the Portuguese courts have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of your own country's law and may sue where you live.
